Washington: United States President Donald Trump has warned that the Covid-19 pandemic will probably ‘get worse before it gets better’, as he revived his coronavirus briefings.
Urging all Americans to wear face coverings, he said, ‘they’ll have an effect’ and show ‘patriotism. He was not wearing a mask at the briefing, but has previously downplayed such personal protective equipment.
He also said the United States is leading the world in terms of Covid-19 testing and India is at second position.
So far more than 140,000 Americans have died due to coronavirus and 3.8 million have tested positive. While the US economy is slowly coming back to normal, the pandemic is now spreading in the Sun Belt of the country.
