New Delhi: India saw a single-day increase of 47,703 covid-19 cases taking the total tally to 14,83,156.
According to Union Health Ministry data released this morning, the country’s death toll was at 33,425 with 654 fatalities taking place in the last 24-hours.
The recoveries now stand at 9,52,743 and there are 4,96,988 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country presently.
This is the sixth consecutive day that COVID-19 cases have increased by more than 45,000.
