To get hassle-free tests done, prior registration is necessary and people have to come in at their respective allotted timings and can go back home quickly, said a press note. Further consultation with the test report is done through online by the liver experts on the same day evening. This programme will be offered free of cost to all and will be running for a week from 28 July to 2 August.
Dr C Palanivelu, chairman, GEM Hospital said, “World Hepatitis Day is one of WHOâs seven officially mandated global public health days. This yearâs theme is ‘Hepatitis-free future,’ with a strong focus on preventing hepatitis B among mothers and newborns.”
