Chennai: ISKCON Chennai is conducting online competitions Kalaa-yukta Utsav on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami from 1 August.
According to a press release, the events are multi-lingual, online contests for children, teens and adults. For children, there are fancy dress, drawing and painting, craft, sloka, story telling and bhajan competitions.
For teens and adults, there are photography, videography, story telling, rangoli/kolam, deity shringar along with altar decoration (how nicely you have decorated Krishna and His mandapam) and bhoga presentation (how artistically you arrange the offerings you have made for Lord Krishna).
Participants can send the audios, videos or pictures for the competitions after Janmashtami. Last date for registration is 9 August. For more details, visit www.iskconchennai.org/competitions
