Jaipur:Â Legislators of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot camp, who have been staying at a hotel on the Jaipur- Delhi Highway amid the ongoing political crisis in the State, have been shifted to Jaisalmer on Friday.
According to sources, the MLAs have been shifted after the Congress Legislature Party meeting in the hotel.
With the deadlock over convening the Rajasthan Assembly ending Wednesday after Governor Kalraj Mishra agreed to call a session from 14 August, all eyes are on Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and sacked Deputy CM Sachin Pilot.
The Raj Bhawan announcement came after the Ashok Gehlot cabinet sent a fourth proposal to the Governor for summoning the Assembly.
Though the Congress has not mentioned a floor test as part of the Assembly agenda, it is widely expected to be held on the very first day.
The Congress government had earlier asked for the session to begin on 31 July. The Governor had turned down three earlier proposals, saying if the government wanted the assembly summoned at short notice it should state that it planned to hold a vote of confidence. Otherwise, it should give 21 daysâ notice, he had said.
