Chennai: Sri Varma Ayurveda Hospital, Kodambakkam, has distributed Ayurvedic and Siddha medicines for generating immunity to police personnel and mediapersons.
Many policemen and journalists, who are among frontline personnel in the fight against Covid-19, have been infected with coronavirus, said a press release, adding: Hence it is imperative that their immunity level is enhanced.
“Realising this necessity, Sri Varma Ayurveda Hospital has been offering Siddha medicines to improve immunity to them.”
Accordingly, at a function held at the Adyar Police Station, Dr Gauthaman Krishnamurthy, director of Sri Verma Ayurveda Hospital, handed over Siddha medicines to Deputy Commissioner Vikraman. On behalf of the South Indian Press Club, its president Nagarajan and a number of journalists received medicines.
