Chennai: Sivagangai MP Karti P Chidambaram has tested coronavirus positive.
The 48-year-old Parliamentarian tweeted and asked all those who had come in contact with him to follow the medical protocol of testing and isolation.
“I have just tested positive for #Covid. My symptoms are mild and as per medical advice I am under home quarantine. I would urge all those who have recently been in contact with me to follow medical protocol,” he said.
Former Tamilnadu Minister and BJP functionary Nainaar Nagendran has also tested Covid-19 positive.
