Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the alleged money laundering angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, has summoned acress Rhea Chakraborty, who is said to be the actor’s former girlfriend.
She has been asked to appear before the ED on Friday, say media reports. The money laundering case is related to the alleged suspicious transactions totalling Rs 15 crore.
Rajput’s father, Krishna Kumar Singh, had lodged a complaint with the Bihar Police against Chakraborty, her family members and six others, and sought to know where the Rs 15 crore deposited in a bank account held by Rajput was transferred.
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Smita Parikh has made some very strong revelations about Rhea Chakraborty.
Smita pointed out in a video that if Sushant was bipolar and depressed, how come he formed a company in January 2020, how come he was working for the welfare of Covid-19 victims in April and doing advanced meditation with his sister in June. However, Rhea has refuted charges against her.
The Centre on Wednesday accepted Bihar government’s request for a CBI probe into the actor’s death case.
