Chennai: The Tamilnadu Directorate of Government Examination released the SSLC results this morning. Though the government had already said that all class 10 students will be declared as passed, their marks were announced today based on their quarterly and half yearly exams.

The department said that the students can download their temporary marksheets from the dge.tn.gov.in website.

It added that students who have any discrepancies can submit the form in the same website from 17 to 25 August.

Around 9.7 lakh candidates had passed the class 10 exam without appearing, as it was cancelled following the Madras High Court order.

The number of male and female candidates are 4,71,759, and 4,68,070 respectively. There are 6,235 differently abled candidates who had passed the exam successfully.

The government had earlier said that 80 per cent marks will be based on their half yearly and quarterly marks and 20 per cent based on their attendance.
