Chennai:Ā For the first time in history, devotees will not be allowed to the three-day Aadi Kiruthigai Theppam festival in Tiruttani, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga.
Instead, the event will be aired live on the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department’s website and on YouTube channelĀ youtu.be/zCWfy8sfxxmk
Aadi Kiruthigai is the biggest annual event of the Arulmigu Subramanya Swamy temple here and the festival would attract lakhs of devotees from various parts of the country to Tiruttani. Most of them would carry kavadis to the Almighty.
Due the Covid-19 pandemic this year, devotees are not being allowed to the temple and to the float festival. However, all the events will be aired live.
