Chennnai: Tamilnadu Congress Committee working president and Congress MP from Kanyakumari H Vasanthakumar, who is undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in a private hospital in Chennai, has been put on ventilator support,
Vasanthakumar, who owns the popular consumer durable chain Vasanth & Co, recently tested positive for Covid-19. His wife too was found with coronavirus infection.
Vasanth is the younger brother of veteran Congress leader and former Tamilnadu Congress Committee president Kumari Ananthan. Vasanthakumar is the uncle of Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
According to Tamilnadu Congress Committee president K S Alagiri, “Vasanthakumar has been put on ventilator support. But his health condition is stable.”
