Chennai: Mother Teresa Women’s University (MTWU), the only women’s university of the State government, situated in Kodaikanal, was started in 1984 by the enactment of Tamilnadu Act 15.
According to a press note, its centre at Saidapet in Chennai plays a dynamic role in empowering women to achieve their targets by enchancemnt of their knowledge and skills.
Closely situated to Tamilndu Open University campus at Saidapet, it offers M Sc visual communication and MA mass communication with a ‘very moderate fee’ structure and ‘excellent’ lab facility. Placements are alsocarried out annually to see that students are fully employed, it added.
