Vijay Deverakonda, who has earlier produced a film titled Meeku Maathram Cheptha, is likely to bankroll a web series featuring his brother Anand Deverakonda in the lead role.
Vijay’s brother Anand made his debut in Tollywood with a film titled Dorasani, directed by Madhura Shreedhar Reddy. The film, which released in July last year, garnered decent response from the audience.
Post the release of the film, there were reports that Anand will be teaming up with a debutant director for a comedy-thriller. According to the latest report, Vijay Deverakonda has decided to bankroll his brother Anand’s next.
The duo have decided to come up with an interesting web series, which will be written by Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The team has already initiated talks with popular OTT platform and an official announcement is likely to be made soon.
There are also speculations that the series will be similar to Sandeep Vanga’s hit film, Arjun Reddy.
