Ponniyin Selvan, the dream project of filmmaker Maniratnam, is on halt following COVID19 restriction and no shootings.
Sources say while the film will be completed in one go and it will be releasing in two parts. The team is planning to resume shooting in October and Ponniyin Selvan team has reportedly locked locations in Madhya Pradesh for the shooting.
The technical crew includes composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Ravi Varman and editor Sreekar Prasad.
The movie boasts of a huge star cast the includes Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar and many big names.
