New Delhi: Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah, who was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on 18 August for post-Covid care, has been discharged, the hospital said today.
Days after his discharge after he tested negative for the novel coronavirus, Amit Shah was admitted to the hospital on August 18 following complaints of fatigue and body aches.
Meanwhile, reports have it that Amit Shah has flagged the delay in investigations against Home Ministry employees facing graft charges and inquiries by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
In a recent communication issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ vigilance branch, it was “observed by the Home Minister that the prescribed schedule of time limits in conducting investigations and departmental inquiries is not being followed by the departments, divisions as per the instructions issued by CVC”.
