Chennai: With the Tamilnadu government allowing hotels to host guests from today, hospitality sector is wasting no time to get back to work. Many hotels in the city are reopening today, with new rules and regulations in place.
With health, hygiene and safety garnering paramount importance in the new normal, ITC Hotels has launched a ‘WeAssure’ initiative.
In a first for the hospitality industry, gests of ITC Hotels will be reassured by an accreditation by NABH. The hotel chain has also partnered with DNV GL Business Assurance, one of the world’s leading certification bodies, to ensure stringent clinical levels of hygiene and safety.
Contactless dining is the norm for both in-room dining and in restaurants. Guest orders will be delivered on sanitised IRD trolley (enabling safe distancing), with sanitised crockery, cutlery, pre-packaged single use condiments, by server in personal protective gear.
Banquets and events assure safe and customised experiences (business/social), in line with government regulations with independent food stations with buffet armours to ensure safety.
