Amitabh starrer Pink was successfully remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai with Ajith playing the lead.

Titled as Vakeel Saab, Anjali and Nivetha Thomas have been confirmed to play the female lead while Andrea Tariang is likely to reprise her role from the original version.
The movie is about a girl who after being molested, along with her friends tries to file an FIR against a politician’s nephew. When the subsequent case gets rigged, a retired lawyer, helps them to fight the case.
