New Delhi: DMK MPs today staged a protest in the capital against NEET ahead of the Parliament session.
By wearing masks with slogans against NEET, which was conducted on Sunday amid suicides of four students in Tamilnadu, the DMK members urged the Centre to cancel the exam.
DMK and CPI(M) have also given Adjournment Motion notice in Lok Sabha over “suicide of 12 teenage students due to NEET”.
Opposition party leaders have been slamming the Centre for its ‘adamant attitude’ to hold the NEET exams in the State despite increasing number of suicides, saying “don’t know how many lives are going to be lost”.
