Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palniswami today announced the launch of the Integrated & Inclusive Public Grievance CM Helpline Management System (IIPGCMS).
Making the announcement under the Rule 110 of the Assembly, he said the grievance sections of all the government departments will be integrated in this scheme.
“A user can upload any grievances regarding any public department in one place. This will ensure that the public do not have to go to different departments to resolve on issue. These grievances will be addressed at the earliest,” he said.
Palaniswami also added that in the first phase the scheme will be introduced in the Information and Technology department at a cost of Rs 12.78 crore.
“This assistance centre will have 100 seats and will be increased or decreased based on the necessity. Most of the petitions received in the grievance cells are related to job opportunities. Such petitions will be immediately notified to the departments concerned,” he said.
