Chennai: Velammal Nexus celebrated Hindi Diwas virtually on its YouTube channel, to mark the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language.
The celebration was presided by L Naveen Kumar Gupta, Hindi translator at government of India, Ministry of Defence, Tamilnadu.
Speaking during the occasion he gave an insight on Atmanirbhar Bharat and importance of Hindi.
The viewers were oriented about the importance of Hindi language and celebrating this day each year helps in sustaining traditional values and glorifying them to reinforce the importance of language, said a press note. Students performed group songs, dances and gave speeches.
