Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today inaugurated the flyovers at Vandalur and Pallavaram.
Both the projects were under construction for a long time and were completed recently.
The 700 metre flyover at Vandalur is constructed at a cost of Rs 55 crore.
Similarly, the 1.53 km flyover at Pallavaram is constructed at a cost of Rs 82.60 crore.
Palaniswami also laid the foundation stone for a U shaped flyover near Tidel park on Rajiv Gandhi Salai.
The flyover will be constructed at a cost of Rs 108.13 crore and will connect OMR, Rajiv Gandhi Salai and Thiruvanmiyur junction.
Palaniswami also inaugurated several other flyovers constructed at a cost of Rs 165.98 crore across Tamilnadu.
Palaniswami said that several flyovers are constructed in and around Chennai to ensure that people transit smoothly to and from the city.
