Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today flagged off 13 types of solar and electric power autos manufactured by M Auto Electric Mobility.
The pact with M Auto Electric Mobility was made by the State government during Palaniswami’s visit to Dubai.
The agreement paved way to an investement of about Ra 100 crore and creating employment opportunity to 5,000 employees. These autos have CCTV cameras, GPS, panic button and tabs.
It may be noted that most of the drivers of M auto are women. Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, Ministers and senior officials took part in the event.
