Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone today appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau officials for interrogation in drug scandal case.

She was questioned about her involvement in the alleged ‘drug chats’ with her manager Karishma Prakash.

Deepika Padukone was the admin of a WhatsApp group in which drugs were discussed, it is being reported. Talent manager Jaya Saha made this disclosure to the Narcotics Control Bureau during questioning.

According to Times Now, NCB sources have said that the WhatsApp group on the basis of which Deepika came under suspicion, was administered by the actor herself. Jaya Saha was also an ‘admin’ of the chat group.

Karishma was also questioned on Friday and was asked to remain present for further questioning today.. Her WhatsApp chats included conversations about drugs with one ‘D’ and the central agency wanted to find out who this person was, the NCB sources had said earlier. Actress Rakul Preet Singh was also questioned on Friday.
