Chennai: E-commerce start-up The Indus Valley has announced that it has been selected as a winner in TiE50 awards. This ten-year-old awards competition is a program of TiEcon, the world’s largest conference for tech entrepreneurs.
The Indus Valley was founded in 2016 by the husband and wife duo Jagadeesh Kumar and Madhumitha Udaykumar. After receiving funding from The Chennai Angels, they have managed to grow and are currently at the 25 crore ARR.
“Customer is in the centre of everything we do. Being a D2C brand we are close to the customer and continuously make improvements, ” said Jagadeesh, to which Madhumitha added “The products that we develop are designed for Indian food.”
