Chennai: The National Institute of Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities, Chennai, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has planted saplings related to fruits for nutrigarden.
This was done on Tuesday under Poshan Maah programmes, launched Poshan Abhyan. Nachiketa Rout. Officiating Director, NIEPMD Chennai inaugurated the programme near Special School in the NIEPMD Campus.
Dr Kolli Raju, Officer Incharge, Homoeopathy Research Institute for the Disabilities, Chennai, and Dr Sivaprasad Goli, Research officer, Dr V Bhavanesh Sundaram participated.
S Karthikeyan, Head of Department of Medical Sciences, NIEPMD Chennai coordinated the programme.
