Chennai: Law enforcement agencies conducted raids in Chennai at three locations- two manufacturing plants and one wholesaler at Devaraja Mudali Street, Nyniappa Naicken Street, in Parry’s Corner and Muniappa Street at Old Washermenpet.
It was found that these facilities were involved in selling, distributing, stocking, and manufacturing large quantities of counterfeit products under leading toilet cleaning and surface cleaning brands.
All fake products, raw material, and packaging material have been seized from the three locations and the perpetrators have been arrested for further investigation. The quantities of counterfeit goods of leading brands seized have been substantial.
