Chennai: With just months left for the Tamilnadu Assembly elections, it looks like a storm is brewing in the alliance led by the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
While BJP leaders are lately making ‘disturbing’ comments, PMK founder S Ramadoss made a sharp attack on the State government on Thursday. The DMDK too, it is said, is weighing options.
Ramadoss accused the AIADMK of not heeding to people’s demands. On the other hand, he praised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy saying the latter is fullfilling all his promises and also going beyond it in delivering welfare measures to the public.
A few days ago, while Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar told mediapersons that the AIADMK’s Chief Minister candidate Edappadi K Palaniswami was undoubtedly the common Chief Ministerial candidate of the alliance, BJP State president L Murugan begged to differ a couple of hours later.
Also, recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the BJP was waiting for actor Rajinikanth to start his party so that it could align with it for the elections and that it would look at the AIADMK only if the actor did not float his own outfit.
