Chennnai: From his constituency development fund, Chidambaram legislator K A Pandian granted Rs five lakh to buy a mobile X-ray machine to Government Kamaraj Hospital.
The machine was inaugurated by the MLA, in the presence of former Minister Selvi Ramajayam, chief doctor Ashok Baskar and others.
Pandian said the machine would cater to the needs of people of 50 villages around Chidambaram. Last year, beds worth Rs 15 lakh were purchased for the hospital from the MLA’s fund.
