Chennai: Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME) has donated Rs one lakh to Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya (TBV) towards purchase of tools and equipment needed for practical sessions for its electrician and wireman ITI courses.
This was done by the Rotary Club at a closely held function on the first day of the centre resuming its classroom sessions for their senior batch students.
The function was presided over by president Selvan and Nagalakshmi, vocational director of RCME along with Dr Sandhya from Dr Koppikar Foundation and Maruthi, secretary, TBVS.
Maruthi deeply appreciated this support from RCME as it had come at a time when it was most needed for resuming classroom sessions.
