Veteran filmmaker K S Ravikumar will bankroll the Tamil remake of 2019 Malayalam superhit Android Kunjappan. The original featured Suraj Venjaramoodu and Soubin Shahir. Besides producing the film, Ravikumar will act in Suraj Venjaramoodu’s role.
An associate of KS Ravikumar is said to be directing the Tamil remake and KS Ravikumar will only be producing this movie, 20 years after he made his debut as producer with Thenali.
A youngster goes to Russia for work, leaving his old-age father with an Android robot (Kunjappan) to take care of him. The old man however, hates the idea. But one fine day, both the robot and the old man develops a bonding.
