Chennai: Economically backward school children living around the Katupalli Port area had to walk up to 7 km every day to get education amidst great difficulties.

Bicycles that have been made with special alloys that are not rusted by the sea wind are sourced and provided to suit the usage in the coastal areas. So far hundreds of students have benefited from this, said a press release.
On Monday, Adani Foundation, on behalf of “Adani Katupalli Port – Community Development Works”, held a program to provide bicycles to students studying at Kattur Government Higher Secondary School.
