Chennai: Alert, a voluntary non-profit organisation that empowers a common man to act in case of emergency to save lives, is organising the fourth edition of the ‘Alert Being Awards’.
The initiative is aimed at honouring humanity by recognising good samaritans, who have made a difference to individuals or the society at large, by impacting with prevention of trauma and saving lives.
A special category of nominations for the fouth edition of Alert Being Awards 2020 is also open to recognise the brave soldiers who came forward to help fight this battle against Covid, putting othersā lives before themselves.
To honour these unsung heroes and support them in their valiant efforts, Alert has introduced a new award category as a moment of glory to Corona warriors.
