Chennai: Assistant Commissioner of Police, B Sampath, Rotary District Governor Nominee 2020-21, Sridharan and Inspector of Police, SRMC, Iyyappanthangal, D Ravikumar, distributed safety kits to 150 workers and staff of Iyyappanthangal and Bharaniputhur Panchayat Boards at Panchayat Board Office, Iyyappanthangal, recently.
These kits that were provided by the Rotary Club of Chennai Prestige, in association with Aalayams Auto Tech Private Limited, included helmet, eye wear, safety nitrile rubber gloves, reflective and gum boots and were sponsored by R Suresh, the club’s director of health services.
Food was also provided for 5000 people in and around Iyyappanthangal. Rotarians like president Ramesh Kumar, secretary K Myilvahanan, treasurer Vishwanathan, along with others, participated in the event.
