Director Pa Ranjith ia an acclaimed producer with his films like Pariyerum Perumal and Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu.
The recent update is that Ranjith’s Neelam Productions is bankrolling a new film titled Writer.
Directed by newcomer Franklin Jacob, Govind Vasantha of 96 fame is composing the music for the film. Samuthirakani plays the protagonist in Writer, the film is also being jointly produced by Golden Ratio Films and Little Red Car Films.Samuthirakani had previously worked with Pa. Ranjith in Kaala, this new film is their second association after the Rajinikanth starrer.
The shoot of the film has commenced recently in Chennai city but the producers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew.
