Chennai: DMK president M K Stalin on Sunday urged the Tamilnadu government to regularise the services of 4,000 temporary nurses, appointed for treating Covid-19 patients, as the threat of virus persists.
In a tweet, he said the services of these 4,000 nurses, who were temporarily appointed and had been dedicatedly serving to save the people’s lives during the pandemic, were about to end.
“Since the Covid-19 virus threat has not been eradicated fully, the services of these 4,000 nurses are needed for the health and medical department and also for the people,” Stalin said and urged the government to regularise their services.
