Chennai: Specialty chemicals company Lanxess India has won the Golden Peacock Occupational Health & Safety (GPOHSA) award for the year 2020 for its commitment and significant achievements in the area of occupational health and safety.
“Handling chemical substances and working with technical equipment fundamentally involve health and safety risks. Across the 33 countries where Lanxess operates, the organisation systematically identifies these risks and the hazard potential – both for existing and new facilities and minimises them by implementing defined preventive and protective measures,” said the company in a statement.
