TN Governor, CM extend New Year greetings

Chennai: Tamilnadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and other leaders have greeted people ahead of New Year.

In his message, Purohit said, “I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Tamilnadu at the dawn of New Year 2021.”

He added: “As we step into the New Year, let us resolve to work together towards building a united, prosperous and healthy India and Tamilnadu. May the New Year be an occasion to make a fresh beginning and renew our resolve for individual as well as collective growth.”

“Let us inculcate in ourselves love, compassion, tolerance and work towards creating an inclusive society where peace and harmony prevails. May this New Year 2021 bring joy and prosperity in everyone’s lives. May everyone be healthy and may everyone’s aspirations be fulfilled,” the Governor further said.

In his message, Palaniswami said let the New Year brings happiness, harmony and peace. TMC president G K Vasan and Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, have also extended their New Year greetings.
