‘Kamali From Nadu Cauvery will be an important movie in my career. We have tried to convey a strong message to audience through the movie’, said actress Kayal Anandhi.Produced by Duraisamy and Kumanan for Abundu Studios, the movie is directed by Rajasekar Duraisamy, who worked as Lingusamy’s associate. The movie also has Prathap Pothan, Imman Annachi, Sreeja in key roles. Music is by Deenadhayal.
Kamali From Nadu Cauvery will hit screens on 19 February.
Says Anandhi, ‘A heroine-centric movie, it will embolden women folk. It will motivate parents. I am lucky to come across this script. I sincerely hope that this movie reaches the masses’.
On his part, the director, said, ‘When I penned the script, I kept in mind Anandhi. However she was too busy to be even approached. However we manage to reach her house in Warrangal and narrated the script. She was mightily impressed and readily agreed to shoot. From then on till now, she has transformed herself as Kamali’.
Prathap Pothen said, ‘When I heard the script, I found it to be a noble romantic story. I thought I should do the movie’.
Imman Annachi, said, ‘Kamali From Nadu Cauvery has romance, humour, message and emotion in right mix. Anandhi has impressed all with her wonderful performance’.
