Chennai: A teaching and learning material library has been inaugurated for students of National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai.
According to a press release, the inauguration was done by Govinda Raj, Executive Council Member, NIEPMD Chennai.
Dr Kolli Raju, Officer Incharge and Scientist, Homoeopathy Research Institute for Disabilities Chennai, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy Ministry, of Ayush, participated as a special guest .
Dr Nachiketa Rout, Director NIEPMD Chennai, presided over the program.
P Kamaraj, Head of the Department of Special Education, Kadiravan, former Principal, Leelavathi Principal, Stalin, faculty and other staff participated.
Nearly 260 visitors visited the library, that has materials useful for children with severe profound multiple disabilities.
The programme ended with the vote of thanks by P Kamaraj.
