Chennai: Veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan’s elder son Ramkumar and grandson Dushyanth are reportedly joining the BJP soon.
Sources say that senior leaders of the BJP met Ramkumar and held discussions with him.
Efforts to contact to confirm the news went in vain.
Meanwhile the cultural team of Tamilnadu Congress Committee in a press release expressed disappointment at Ramkumar’s decision to join the BJP.
The release said, ‘Sivaji Ganesan was a Congress sympathiser all his life. He advocated patriotism and secularism. Sivaji Ganesan moved closely with many senior Congress leaders. The decision by Ramkumar would not be forgiven by Sivaji Ganesan’s soul’.
