Chennai: The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organised the third edition of its flagship event, the Indo-French Investment Conclave focusing on the Tamilnadu on 11 and 12 February in a virtual format.
The event was organised to showcase investment opportunities in India and to attract French Investments and boost Indo-French trade.
The conclave, its organisers said, focused on promoting the conducive business environment, state-of-the-art infrastructure, proactive governance and favorable ecosystem in Tamilnadu. The agenda of the Conclave was to create a strong platform to showcase the advantages of the State to the Indo-French business community in France and India. This virtual conclave enabled B2G & B2B meetings.
The event was supported by the Government of Tamilnadu, Embassy of France in India, Consulate of France in Chennai & Pondicherry, ELCOT, M-TIPB, Business France, Guidance, Invest India and CII and was attended by senior government officials, policymakers, top private sector players from India and France, multilateral agencies and industry experts.
French companies A Raymond Fasterners, Cryolor, Precia Molen and Timac Agro, presented four LOIs to the government of Tamilnadu, with an intent to invest Rs 200 crore in the State during the IFCCI Indo- French Investment Conclave 2021.
