Chennai: Thomas Cook India, India’s integrated travel services company has won the CNBC India Risk Management Award in the Travel & Leisure category for the fourth time since inception.
The India Risk Management Awards presented by CNBC-TV18 jointly with ICICI Lombard, were conceptualised to recognise corporations that effectively devise & deploy a ‘Boundaryless Risk Management’ architecture that augments the strength of businesses in the new normal. The selection process consisted of a thorough analysis of the company’s data, systems and frameworks and was judged by a panel of experts.
Thomas Cook India has been declared winner in the Travel & Leisure category in recognition of its robust Enterprise Risk Management framework and effective use of technology. In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company’s processes have helped it continuously navigate and minimize risk, while maximizing business potential even in uncertain times.
