Puducherry: Opposition parties in Puducherry have demanded the dismissal of the V Narayanasamy government after one more Congress MLA resigned from the Assembly on Tuesday.

Anbalagan of the AIADMK approached the Lieutenant-Governor’s officer, seeking dismissal of the Narayanasamy government on the grounds it had lost its majority.
Speaking to reporters, they said, ‘The Congress government in Puducherry has lost its majority. We came here to request for a floor test.’
Anbalagan said the Ppposition had given a representation to the Secretary of the Lieutenant-Governor and had also spoken to the newly appointed Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
