Mumbai: Two Ministers in the Maharashtra government, Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope and Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil, have tested positive for Covid-19.
Sources said Tope was admitted to a private hospital on Thursday afternoon. In a social media message, the Minister of Public Health said, “I have tested positive for Covid-19.”
“My health condition is fine. I appeal to those who have come into contact with me recently to get tested at the earliest,” he said.
Rajesh Tope advised those who had come in his contact in past few days to get themselves tested for the infection.
“Anyone who had come in contact with me should be careful and get tested for coronavirus immediately if symptoms appear,” Rajesh Tope said in his tweet.
