Chennai: Just one month after the comprehensive go-local strategy by Jeep brand was announced, Jeep India has announced that production for the locally-assembled 2021 Wrangler has commenced in its Ranjangaon joint venture manufacturing facility.

“Jeep has always represented the ultimate in capability and open-air freedom, and we are incredibly proud that our Made-in-India Wrangler protects that important legacy in the market,” said Partha Datta, managing director, Jeep India.

The 2021 Wrangler is now available for pre-booking before going on sale in India on 15 March, in 26 dealerships across the country.
