Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 33rd convocation of The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University on 26 February 2021 at 11 am, via video conferencing.
A total of 17591 candidates will be conferred with degrees and diplomas in the convocation. The Governor of Tamilnadu will also be present on the occasion.
Modi is on a visit to Tamilnadu and Pondicherry to inaugurate various development initiatives, including infrastructure projects worth over Rs 12,400 crore in Coimbatore, Neyveli New Thermal Power Project — a lignite based power plant designed for power generation capacity of 1000 MW with two units of 500 MW capacity each.
