Healthcare workers to go to the doorsteps of public

Chennai: As directed by Director General, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of Ayush, the Homoeopathy Research Institute for Disabilities, Chennai, has initiated an healthcare awareness and management programme for capacity building of general population linked with Swatch Bhaarat in areas predominantly identified as Scheduled Caste localities.

At Kundrukadu area in Kovalam Panchayat, healthcare workers will go to doorsteps of the public and get the data and information, besides providing homoeopathic medicines for the needy people by the doctors.

The programme was inaugurated by Nachiketa Rout, Director Officiating, NIEPMD Chennai and Gopu, Deputy Block Development Officer Tiruporur Block participated as special guests.
