Chennai: Veteran yesteryear actor S S Rajendran’s nephew Vedha has launched a new political party and said his outfit would contest in all 234 Assembly constituencies in Tamilnadu and 30 seats in Puducherry.
Vedha is the editor of Microstat, a statistical and policy research organisation based in New Delhi.
Vedha, who has helped in reconstructing many temples across Tamilnadu and winner of awards for his social works, said he launched Vedha Peravai to safeguard the interests of people of Tamilnadu and ensure that they have access to all basic amenities.
He has launched the election manifesto and said he would release the candidates list in Chidambaram on 9 March.
