Chennai: The seventh annual celebration by Goodness Foundation was held by providing food to over 1,000 people, as part of the Food42 campaign at the Salvation Army Hall at Periyamet, Chennai.
Social activist Hari Krishnan and Thenmozhi Memorial Trust founder Arun Kumar were the chief guests of the event.
“With education as our main focus, we have also improved the quality of living of several families, ensured that children complete their schooling, assisted them with skill development and set up sustainable livelihood for few families. We have also been actively involved in providing immediate relief during natural disasters like floods, cyclones and especially during the Covid pandemic the past year,” said Goodness Foundation founder-chairman Paul Raja Livingston.
He said the foundation has positively impacted several thousands of families. Celebrities who have been supporting the foundation had sent in videos of their wishes and appreciation for the organisation. Everyone who had come for the even was given a sapling.
