Chennai: Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s close aide V K Sasikala today paid homage to her husband T Natarajan on his third anniversary today at his memorial in Thanjavur.
Sasikala had earlier embarked on a one week tour to Thanjavur. She offered prayers at the Sri Rangam Sri Ranganathaswamy temple yesterday following which she went to her kuladeivam temple.
Earlier, she had also taken part in a family function. Sasikala was recently released from the Parappana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru after serving four years in connection with the disproportionate assets case. She was expected to involve in active politics, however Sasikala announced that she is retiring from politics. This came as a huge blow to her supporters.
